Our residential ceiling installation services include:
T-bar Ceiling Installations (drop ceilings):
Referred to as t-bar ceilings, drop ceilings or suspended ceilings, these systems hang roughly 4 inches below your floor joists. This gives you easy access above the ceiling to help with running wires, maintenance of upper floor services and quick replacement of tiles from water damage or abuse.
We carry all major manufacturers of ceiling tile: Armstrong, Certainteed, CGC, OWA, and Rockfon. Because of our large selection, we can make sure you are getting the look and performance you want.
We offer free in-home consultations for all residential ceiling installations. An estimator will come to your home to measure the space and go over all options for common trouble spots like ductwork, windows and electrical. We also bring samples of the ceiling tiles and other accessories that may be required to complete the ceiling install.
After the initial consultation, we complete a layout of the space to help you plan the mechanical and electrical components. We also complete a firm quote for the installation. There are never any hidden fees or additional charges added after the work is complete.
Our installers are experienced in residential installs and the unique demands they present. We are always mindful of finished surfaces, furniture and clean up after the work is completed.
Included in our basement ceiling installation is hookup for heat diffusers and cutting the ceiling tiles for lights. We also sell 4” and 6” slim LED lights that help keep the drop ceiling as tight to the floor joists as possible.

Direct Mount Ceiling Installations:
Direct mount ceilings attach to the floor joists. The benefit to these systems is maximizing the ceiling height, the downside is you lose the easy access that suspended ceilings have.
The most popular products for this style of ceiling are tongue and groove planks and decorative tin panels.
Tin ceilings are available for drop ceilings and for direct mount applications. These are available in 30 patterns and over 100 colours.
Plank ceilings are available with a wood or PVC core. These also come in many colours including wood grain.
Our installers are very experienced in both of these options and will take the stress out of your project by providing quality products and professional installation.
Specialty Ceilings:
Beyond the above more typical basement ceiling options, we also carry a large selection of specialty products. Some popular examples would be concrete looking tiles, industrial metal tiles and fiber optic star panels.
Our showroom is an excellent resource for seeing the different options and talking with an expert about your project. Our staff can educate you on the acoustic properties of different materials and help you make an informed decision. For any of your acoustic or specialty drop ceiling projects, come talk with your local ceiling experts.
